George J. Wright, age 94, of Tomahawk, passed from this life on Saturday, Sept. 3, 2022 at home. He was born in Elyria, Ohio on Dec. 30, 1927 to Warren E. Wright and Florence (Dunham) Wright. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Dorothy and daughter, Jackie.
He is survived by daughters, Rebecca Wright of Minocqua, Wis., Bonnie Blake of Athens, Wis., Georgia Schneiderwent of Harrison Hills, WIis., and Roberta (David) Gauthier of Tomahawk. George is further survived by 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
From George: Life is just a vapor and it goes by so fast and what is done for Jesus are only what will last. Jesus died on that cross for you and for me. So remove the scales from our eyes so that we can see. Many, Many, Many have gone on before. How many of that many have chose Christ to adore. All of us humans will feel death’s deadly sting. So will it be joy or sorrow that the end it will bring. For God so loved the world that he gave his only son. So like trusting little children it’s to Jesus we run.
