Samuel “Sam” Anthony Czaplinski, age 27, of Weston, passed unexpectedly on Saturday, Aug. 27 at his residence. Sam was born on Feb. 17, 1995 in Wausau, Wis., the son of Timothy and Lisa (nee Brunberg) Czaplinski.
Sam is survived by his parents Tim (Charyl Hoover) Czaplinski and Lisa (Mike) Schroedel; his grandma Trudy Martinson; his step-siblings Maddie, Alison and Thomas Schroedel; aunt Jenny (Donny) Logslett; uncles Scott (Jill) Czaplinski and Bob (Julie) Czaplinski; cousins Chris and Tara O’Neil, Scott and Nick Czaplinski, Noah (Jordan) Logslett, Aaron (Ciera) Logslett and Eden Logslett; and by many other relatives and friends.
Sam was preceded in death his grandparents Marian and Leonard Czaplinski and Albert Brunberg; and his aunt Dawn Hardell.
Visitation will be Thursday, Sept. 1 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Peterson-Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 N. 6th Street, Wausau, Wis., and Funeral Mass will be Friday, Sept. 2 at 11 a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Weston, with a visitation from 10 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be at St. Agnes Church Cemetery.
