Matthew “Matt” A. Venne, age 57, of Tomahawk, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2022. Matt was born in Tomahawk on April 29, 1965, to the late Arthur and Rosemary (Ahlborn) Venne. He was married to Peggy Leffel on Sept. 29, 1994; she survives.
Matt worked with the Lincoln County Highway Department for several years until his retirement in 2020.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy Venne, of Tomahawk; his daughter, Emily (Dustin) Bonack, of Merrill, Wis.; and his sister, Dawn (Hugh) Head, of Milwaukee, Wis. Matt is further survived by his grandchildren, Henry and Scarlett. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Rosemary.
