NORTHERN WISCONSIN – The Northwoods Tobacco-Free Coalition (NWTFC), in collaboration with UW-Stout, is seeking participation in an online public opinion poll.

NWTFC said the survey was developed to “better understand how community members value the health of their local area by expressing their concerns about commercial tobacco and by rating prevention strategies they think would work best in their community.”

“The data will be used to inform tobacco-related policy and interventions in the region,” NWTFC stated.

Information provided in the poll will be kept confidential.

Individuals who live or work in Lincoln, Forest, Oneida, Price or Vilas counties are encouraged to participate in the survey, which takes 10 to 15 minutes to complete. Participants must be 18 or older.

The poll will be open until Monday, Sept. 12.
