Scott A. Erdman, age 54, of Tripoli, Wis., passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 24, 2022. Scott was born in Medford, Wis., on April 30, 1968, to Galen and Shirley (Erikson) Erdman. He was married to Diane Weisinger on Aug. 29, 1994; she survives.
Scott grew up in Curtiss, Wis., and was a 1986 graduate of the Colby High School. After graduation, he entered the workforce, running his dad’s gas station. He held several odd jobs before starting employment at Harley-Davidson, where he worked for 22 years. He was later employed at Caterpillar, Inc., in Prentice, Wis., and then Packaging Corporation of America in Tomahawk. Most recently, Scott had just accepted his dream job as a semi driver for Performance Foodservice, a job he truly enjoyed. He was a motorcycle enthusiast who loved adventure. Above all, Scott cherished time spent with his wife, children, and grandchildren. He was a faithful member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife of over 27 years, Diane Erdman, of Tripoli; two sons, Slade (Kristina) Erdman, of Prentice, and Chase (Natalie) Erdman, of San Antonio, Texas; his daughter, Hannah Erdman, of Tomahawk; his parents, Galen and Shirley Erdman, of Curtiss; two brothers, Dennis Erdman, of Abbotsford, Wis., and Randy (Kris) Erdman, of Curtiss; and his mother-in-law, Kathleen Weisinger, of Tomahawk.
Scott is further survived by his grandchildren, Harper, Colter, and Elsie, with one on the way.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Peggy Ann Erdman, and his father-in-law, Ralph “Tom” Weisinger.
Memorial services for Scott Erdman were held on Friday, July 1, 2022, at 1 p.m., at Generations Funeral Home, Tomahawk. The family received friends for visitation from 11 a.m. until the time of services at 1 p.m. At the family’s request, those in attendance wore their favorite Harley-Davidson attire or sleeveless tees in memory of Scott.
