MERRILL – The Lincoln County Veterans Service Office, 801 N. Sales St., Merrill, will be closed from Sunday, July 17 through Friday, July 22 to allow Veterans Service Officer John Olson and Deputy Veterans Service Officer Tiffany Daigle to complete accreditation training with the Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs.
“We understand this will be an inconvenience for the County’s veterans,” Olson said in a release. “However, this training will equip us with knowledge and skills essential to gaining required accreditation certification and our ability to effectively serve you.”
Olson said he and Daigle will check phone messages and emails throughout the week.
“If you have an urgent need, please call or email and we will do our best to get you help,” Olson stated. “Thank you for your understanding and patience in this matter.”
