Dale A. Schreiber, age 70, of the Town of Little Rice, passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2022. He was born in Wausau, Wis., on June 25, 1951, to the late Alvin and Adeline (Radke) Schreiber.
Dale grew up in Wausau and was a 1969 graduate of the Wausau High School. He worked for Wausau Truck Sales for many years and later worked for Minocqua Truck and Equipment, retiring in 2015.
Dale served on the Little Rice Fire Department. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, spending time on his property in the woods, four wheeling, and snowmobiling. Dale also enjoyed playing horseshoes on league and was a former champion with his brother, Rod. He was a great handyman working around the house and the yard. He had a heart of gold.
Survivors include his brother, Rodney Schreiber, of Little Rice; his sister, Charlene (Thomas) Carstensen, of Wausau; and his nieces, Cara (Christopher) Bahlow, of Wausau, and Kelly (Curtis) Johnson, of Mount Horeb, Wis. Dale is further survived by four great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Adeline.
Memorial services for Dale Schreiber were held on Monday, June 13, 2022, at 11 a.m., from Generations Funeral Home, Tomahawk. Rev. Larry Mathein officiated. Dale’s family received friends for visitation from 9 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m.
