TOWN OF BRADLEY – The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) announced on Thursday, June 7 that Governor Tony Evers signed a $593,755.00 contract with prime contractor Larson Construction Co. of Chippewa Falls for an improvement project on WIS 107 at Little Pine Creek between Dotter and Hillcrest Roads in the Town of Bradley.

A release from WisDOT said the existing bridge, built in 1985, has reached the end of its service life.

According to the release, the project, slated to begin next week, will remove the existing bridge and replace it with a two-cell concrete box culvert, backfill the area around the culvert, repave the road and replace guardrail.

WIS 107 will be closed during construction, and traffic will be detoured via County J, US 51 and County S, WisDOT said. The closure and detour are scheduled to begin Wednesday, June 15.

Construction is scheduled for completion by September.

“The schedule is dependent on favorable weather and construction progress,” WisDOT stated.
