THS freshman Mya Pankow competes in Wisconsin High School Rodeo Association season opener

TOMAH – Tomahawk High School freshman Mya Pankow competed in the opening rodeo of the Wisconsin High School Rodeo Association (WHSRA) spring season in Tomah, Wis., on Saturday, April 30 and Sunday, May 1.

Of the more than 175 students participating in WHSRA, Pankow is the only THS student-athlete competing, racing in barrels, pole bending, goat tying and breakaway roping.

This spring, Pankow will compete in three more WHSRA rodeos in Wisconsin and Iowa.
