Gary R. Juedes

Gary R. Juedes, age 76, of Irma, Wis., passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2022. Gary was born in Milwaukee, Wis., on Oct. 19, 1945, to the late Edwin and Helen (Cannon) Juedes. He was married to Fern Schneider on Dec. 11, 1965; she survives.

Gary attended school at the Cloverbelt School in the Town of Skanawan. He entered the workforce beginning employment in Merrill, Wis., at Northern Door, Semco Windows & Doors, and Anson & Gilkey Co. He later worked and retired from the Packaging Corporation of America in Tomahawk. Gary had a passion for farming and was a dairy farmer for many years. He later began a hobby farm, where he raised pigs and beef cattle. In his younger years, he worked with his dad as a logger. He enjoyed camping, traveling, snowmobiling, and was an avid NASCAR fan. Gary loved the hard work that went along with farming and took great pride in his land and equipment. He will be remembered for his social personality and wonderful sense of humor. He knew no strangers.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Fern Juedes; his son, Eugene Juedes; his daughter, Linda (August LaCrosse) Juedes; his brother, Roger (Judy) Juedes; his sisters, Judy Stine, Sandy (Ward) Carstensen, and Darlene (Bill) Evans; and his sister-in-law, Betsy. He is further survived by many nieces and nephews and cherished friends.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Helen; his brothers, Larry, Wayne, Duane, Dale, Bruce, and Darrell; his sisters, Sharon Purchase, Dawn Edde, and Kaye Wilson; his brother-in-law, Dale Stine; his sisters-in-law, Belle Juedes and Joan Juedes; and his nephews.
