THS forensics students earn medals at State

For the Tomahawk Leader

DEFOREST – A slate of Tomahawk High School students earned medals in the State forensics competition held at DeForest High School on Saturday, April 9.

Tomahawk’s gold medalists included Martin Schmidt, Jack McGovern, Joe Reiter and Kailey Cerny in group interpretation, with Schmidt and McGovern each earning an additional medallion for being gold medalists four years in a row; Maura Koth and Murphy Koth in group interpretation; Jenny Meza and AJ Schertz in play acting; and Brynnen Stefan in prose.

Olivia Kiser was Tomahawk’s sole silver medalist, earning the honor in prose.

Bronze medalists from Tomahawk were Julia McGovern and Cedar Hoffman in play acting; Maggie Lashua and Christian Lashua in play acting; Stacey Radtke in farrago; and Nik Stefanich in prose.
