Philip Beiler

Philip Beiler, 74, of Prescott Valley, Ariz., passed away Saturday, March 19, 2022, after battling cancer for seven months. Philip was born on Aug. 16, 1947 to John and Helen (Rosche) Beiler in Milwaukee.

His family moved to Tomahawk, Wis., In 1954. He graduated from Tomahawk High School with the class of 1965. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving his country during the Vietnam War. After his discharge from the Navy in 1974, he earned a degree in Applied Sciences from ITT Technical Institute. He worked as a computer programmer for a HVAC firm. He was married to Wendy Poirrier of New Hampshire in 1987. They enjoyed 14 years together in California. Philip enjoyed bluegrass music, playing his banjo, and attending festivals.

He was preceded in death by Wendy who he called his “dearest, darling and loving wife,” his parents, his brothers John, Andy, and Tony, and his sister Helene.

He is survived by his other siblings Betsy (Don) Voermans of Oconto Falls, Wis., Mike Beiler of Tomahawk, Rick Beiler of Prescott Valley, Ariz., Amy Beiler of Tomahawk, Marge (Don) Pierce of Tomahawk, and Jim (Donna) Beiler of Rhinelander. He is further survived by many nieces, a special Godchild Stephanie Beiler-Bass, nephews, great-nieces, great-great-nephews. He is also survived by his extended family in Seattle. His stepson Ryan Poirrier, daughter-in-law Alicia Lundquist, step-grandchildren to “grandpa Phil” Jacob, Paige, Charles, Alexa, Paris, and Daria.

Philip is now at peace and no longer has to endure the sufferings of this life.

The family would like to thank the VA hospice in Prescott Valley for their care. His life will be celebrated privately by his family.
