Jeffrey Kenneth Stran, 67, passed onto eternal life on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, in Eau Claire, Wis., with his family at his side.
Jeff was born on Sept. 9, 1954 to Carl Kenneth and Joyce Stran in Geneva, Ill. He graduated from Geneva High School in 1972 and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 1977. He married Elizabeth (Bruder) Stran in 1981 and celebrated 41 years of marriage. Together they had two children, Emily (Stran) Crossman and Charles Stran. The family relocated to Tomahawk, Wis., and later Eau Claire.
Jeff was preceded in death by his sister Susan (Stran) Schultz and father Carl Kenneth Stran.
Jeff is survived by his wife Elizabeth of Eau Claire, daughter Emily (John) Crossman of Elk Mound, Wis., son Charles (Talia) Stran of Eau Claire, and grandchildren Noah, Adalinne, Eli, and Elias, as well as his mother Joyce Stran of Geneva, Ill. and brother Timothy (Kelli) Stran of Elburn, Ill.
A private remembrance will be held at a later time.
