Spring is in the air!
With daylight savings time going hand-in-hand with warmer temperatures and longer days, it is easy to get excited as we look ahead.
Even before these brighter days were upon us, here at Tomahawk Main Street, we have been hard at work preparing for a fun-filled year. We are thrilled to bring a new event to the downtown this year.
Beginning Saturday, March 26, you can pick up an adventure map from the participating stores listed below, then follow the bunny trail around town. Find the hidden egg, get a stamp, and be entered to win a prize! Once you have completed all stops along the bunny trail, hop on down to the Main Street office at 225 W. Wisconsin Ave. and drop off your completed entry form for a goodie bag.
We will pull one grand prize winner on Friday, April 15, so be sure to turn your form in by 4:30 p.m. that day! Please remember though, only one entry per participant.
Participating businesses include Boulangerie, Café on Main, Century 21 Best Way Realty, Cherie’s Sweet Sensations, Corner Pub, Diamond Rock Glass Studio, H&R Block, HMM Boutique, Honeycomb L.O.F.T., Sammy’s Subs, Sew Pieceful Quilting, Standard Mercantile, The Knot Haus Gift Gallery, Tomahawk Community Bank, Tomahawk Furniture, Up North Nutrition, and What’s Brewin’.
But wait, there’s even more! That’s right – on Saturday, April 16, we are introducing an Easter Fun Day!
First, a question…what could be better than pancakes? How about pancakes you don’t have to make yourself, and you can enjoy while they are hot?
We are hosting a pancake breakfast bonanza at Bambino’s! From 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., stop in and get your day started off right! Adults will be $8.00 and children 12 and under will be $5.00.
After you get your fill of pancakes, there are more adventures waiting – visit the participating businesses showcasing a creative activity from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.!
Participating businesses include the Corner Pub with egg decorating, Diamond Rock Glass Studio with glass egg decorating ($5.00 kiln fee), H&R Block and planting with the Explorers Club, HMM Boutique playing Easter games, and Tomahawk Furniture having fun with a candy guessing game.
You can also join us at Vicky’s Photo Shop to get your picture taken with the Easter Bunny. The Easter Bunny will be hanging around from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., so be sure to get down to Vicky’s before the Easter Bunny hops away!
