Lincoln County Sheriff’s Report: Feb. 28, 2022

As reported by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office Monday, Feb. 28:

A Rhinelander man, 19, was arrested on an Oneida County warrant following a traffic stop on USH 51 near County Rd. D Thursday afternoon. The man was also cited for operating a motor vehicle while suspended and failure to have insurance.

Deputies and the Tomahawk Fire Dept. responded to a structure fire in the Town of Bradley Thursday evening. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is unknown.

A woman, 39, from South Elgin, Ill., and a woman, 18, received non-life-threatening injuries following a motor vehicle crash on USH 51 near Pope Rd. in the Town of Merrill Thursday evening.

A Marathon woman, 34, was arrested for first offense operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated early Friday morning following a traffic stop on USH 51 near County Rd. Q in the Town of Scott.

Deputies responded to six vehicles in the ditch and two property damage crashes during Thursday’s snowfall.

A Rhinelander man, 46, was arrested for first offense operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated Friday night after deputies responded to a vehicle in the ditch on Mail Route Rd. in the Town of Harrison.

A man, 58, from Grayslake, Ill., received non-life-threatening injuries following a snowmobile crash in the Town of Rock Falls Saturday afternoon.

Deputies responded to a vehicle rollover on USH 51 near Lincoln Dr. Saturday afternoon. No injuries were reported.

A Madison woman, 25, was stopped and cited for travelling 91 MPH on USH 51 near County Rd. S early Sunday morning.

A Wausau man, 18, was stopped and cited for travelling 82 MPH on State Rd. 17 near Lecks Ln. in the Town of Schley Sunday evening.

A Tomahawk man, 18, was stopped and cited for travelling 109 MPH on USH 51 near County Rd. D in the Town of Bradley Sunday evening.
