Wrestler of the Week

Wrestler of the Week this week is Senior Marcus Matti.

Marcus has had an outstanding season that has seen him surpass 40 wins while occupying the heavyweight and 220 pound weight classes for the Hatchets. While Marcus has been competing in those weight classes, he weighs naturally around 195 pounds, making his accomplishments more impressive as he routinely gives up 20 or more pounds in a match. Marcus is an incredible athlete that has dedicated hours to the weight room and out of season camps. Marcus has already won two individual conference championships, two team conference championships, three Individual Regional championships and three Team Regional championships. Marcus is looking to win his first Individual Sectional Championship this weekend and add State Finalist to his accolades to end the season. Marcus is an incredibly talented wrestler and overall great teammate who Tomahawk is lucky to have competing for them.
