Dawn P. Gruhlke, age 60, of Tomahawk, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 27, 2022, at the Hospice House in Wausau, Wis. Dawn was born in Tomahawk on June 23, 1961, to the late William and Patricia (Hodge) Gruhlke.

Dawn was a 1979 of Tomahawk High School. She was a big kid at heart and loved being a day care provider and being around children. She worked for many years at Tomahawk Speedway selling tickets and working in concessions. Dawn enjoyed crocheting hats and blankets and sharing them with family and friends, spending time with her family, and truly adored her cats.

Survivors include her brothers, Brian Gruhlke, of Tomahawk, and William (Joanna) Gruhlke, of Luxemburg, Wis.; her sister, Susan (Rick) DeLap, of Tomahawk; and her aunt and uncle, Roland and Nesta Hodge, also of Tomahawk.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Patricia; and her brother, Brad Gruhlke.

Funeral services for Dawn Gruhlke will be held on Friday, Feb. 4, 2022, at Generations Funeral Home, Tomahawk, at 11 a.m. Rev. Larry Mathein will officiate. The family will receive friends for visitation from 9 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. Burial will take place at the Greenwood Cemetery in the spring.
