Kayla M. Frank, age 28, of Tripoli, Wis., passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2022, at Aspirus Good Samaritan Hospital in Merrill, Wis. Kayla was born in Green Bay, Wis., on Oct. 5, 1993, to Michael and Lynn (Johnson) Frank.
Kayla grew up in the Tomahawk and Merrill area and attended the Merrill High School. She was a stay-at-home mom who loved raising her three young children and took great pride and joy in doing so. She made everyone laugh with her great sense of humor and vibrant and caring personality. Kayla was a social butterfly who loved taking pictures and selfies and enjoyed listening to all genres of music. She was known for wearing her sunglasses whether it was day or night, enjoyed doing hair and makeup, and truly cherished all of her many friends.
Survivors include her parents, Michael and Lynn Frank; two sons, Liam and Kolton Zahn; one daughter, Sophia Young; two sisters, Shawna DeHart and Courtney Frank; three nieces, Aurora DeHart, Alexis Scheu, and Izabella Frank; her paternal grandparents, Jack and Della Boers; and her maternal grandmother, Susan Johnson. Kayla is further survived by her extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Kevin Frank; and her grandfather, Ronald Johnson.
A celebration of life gathering for Kayla Frank will be held on Saturday, Jan. 29, 2022, at 2 p.m., at Generations Funeral Home, Tomahawk. The family will receive friends for visitation from 11 a.m. until the time of services at 2 p.m. Inurnment will take place at the Spirit Hillcrest Cemetery in the spring. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to her family.
