TOMAHAWK – The School District of Tomahawk Board of Education, on Friday, Jan. 21, announced the names of its final two District Administrator candidates.
In a release, the board said the two finalists are Tomahawk Middle School Principal Mr. Wendell Quesinberry and Mosinee High School Principal Dr. Nathan Lehman.
The board said it held closed sessions earlier this week for initial candidate interviews before narrowing the pool to Quesinberry and Lehman.
Quesinberry and Lehman are slated to participate in candidate forums with district families, students, staff and community members in the Tomahawk High School Auditorium next week. Quesinberry’s forum is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 24, while Lehman’s forum is set to take place at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 25.
The forums will be moderated by Interim District Administrator Joe Innis.
“These sessions will provide an opportunity to meet each candidate, ask questions and provide feedback to the Board of Education,” the board stated. “All interested families, students and community members are invited to participate.”
Following the forums, each candidate will be interviewed again, the board said.
The board said it hopes to select a candidate in early February, with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2022.
