Jackie Leonhard appointed to Park City Credit Union Board of Directors

For the Tomahawk Leader

MERRILL – Park City Credit Union (PCCU) announced on Wednesday, Jan. 19 that Jackie Leonhard had been appointed to its Board of Directors.

Leonhard’s appointment comes following the passing of Dr. Bobbie Voermans in July 2021. Leonhard will serve out the remainder of Voermans’ term, which ends this year. She may be reelected at the PCCU’s annual meeting this spring, a release from PCCU said.

Leonhard is broker-owner of Northwoods Community Realty LLC in Tomahawk.

“A real estate professional since 2003, (Leonhard) is very familiar with Tomahawk, Merrill, Rhinelander, and the surrounding areas,” the release stated.

Leonhard currently serves as president of the Tomahawk State Foundation and the Long & Bass Lake Association. She is also a board member of the Lincoln County Partners of Education and the Tomahawk Chamber of Commerce.

Leonhard’s volunteer activities include the Lincoln County Land Services Committee, Knight Owls Snowmobile Club and Grace Lutheran Church committees.

“Jackie’s business background and commitment to serving various communities within the Northwoods makes her an ideal choice to help lead our credit union’s next stage of growth and development,” said Park City CEO Val Mindak. “We are incredibly proud to have a local business owner and civic leader join our board of directors.”
