NORTHERN WISCONSIN – With the 2022 elections on the horizon, the League of Women Voters of the Northwoods (LWVNOW) is inviting all candidates running for office to provide campaign information directly to the Vote411 Voters Guide.

The Voters Guide is available at www.Vote411.wi.org.

Candidate information available in the guide includes experience, why they are running for office, what they hope to accomplish for the voters, and if they are an incumbent, the highlights of their current time in office.

LWVNOW said the guide is available online “to provide voters with critical information regarding voting in all 2022 elections affecting them.”

“Voters will find the dates for all elections, including any primary for their district, their voting location, information about the candidates, and direct links to their municipal clerk,” LWVNOW stated.

LWVNOW said voters should look for Primary election information to be available online at www.Vote411.wi.org by Feb. 1.

April election information will be available in mid-March.

“The League is currently attempting to contact all candidates running for office to invite them to participate,” LWVNOW said.

Candidates may also reach out to the League at [email protected].

The LWVNOW encompasses Florence, Forest, Langlade, Lincoln, Oneida and Vilas counties. The local league belongs to the state and national League of Women Voters, “a non-partisan organization devoted to helping members and fellow citizens develop educated political opinions and act upon them through the democratic process.” The league’s monthly meetings and sponsored events are open to all. Contact the league by emailing [email protected] or visiting www.lwvnow.org.
