TOMAHAWK – The Four Rivers Quilt Guild of Tomahawk recently distributed handmade items that members made for the holiday season.
Staff with Tomahawk’s health care facilities and senior center, including Riverview Health Services, Country Terrace of Wisconsin, Tomahawk Health Services, and Milestone Senior Living Center, received pillowcases and walker bags for residents. The Salvation Army of Tomahawk received children’s bags and lap quilts to distribute to families during the holiday.
The Four Rivers Quilt Guild meets the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month at 9 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, Tomahawk. New members are always welcome. The guild has supported the area with their sewing skills since 1995.
