Audrey L. Bozich, age 93, of Harshaw, Wis., passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday, Dec. 17, 2021, at her home under the care of her family and Compassus Hospice. Audrey was born in Milwaukee, Wis., on July 17, 1928, to the late Joseph and Lucille (Sikorski) Leszczynski.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Norbert A. Bozich; her sister, Carole; and her brother, James.

Audrey is survived by three sons, Michael, Daniel, and James; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Audrey loved her family and she was well loved by all in return.

~ Mom said to me that when she passed, she will be reunited with Dad and all her old friends. I can’t think of a better hope than that. One thing that I will always remember with a smile is her comment “this getting old is for the birds” to which I would reply, “Yeah, I don’t think the birds like it much either.” Most of mom’s dear friends have passed to their spiritual homes and if, indeed, that our hope in the resurrection is realized, Mom will truly be united with them all. Thanks, Mom, for all you have given of yourself to us, you will truly be missed. ~

In accordance with wishes, no formal services will be held at this time.

Generations Funeral Home & Crematory, Tomahawk, is assisting the family. You may view Audrey’s obituary and leave online condolences at www.generationsfuneral.com.
