Scot Lynn Sawicky, age 65, of Tomahawk, passed away on Monday, Nov. 22, 2021. The Northwoods of Tomahawk was always special to him. He grew up going to Tomahawk with his grandparents to enjoy their cabin on Lake James. He continued that tradition with his daughter and eventually retired there to enjoy it year-round.

You have left many friends behind, as you had a way of connecting with people anywhere. We know you are up in Heaven already playing the “Granny Game” with your beloved Grandma Myrt. And now that Thanksgiving has passed, we are positive that your Heaven Home is nicely decorated for Christmas. Scot, you will be dearly missed and always remembered.

Scot was preceded in death by his grandparents, Paul and Myrtle Wrensch; and his nephew, Larry Oertel.

He is survived by his daughter, Yolanda Baral; his granddaughters, Tiana, Cali, Zoe, and Kaylyn; his mother, Nancy Waddell; and his siblings, Margaret Hayes, Paul Sawicky, Karen Rock, Sarah Bohman, and Steve Waddell.

Scot requested a celebration of life to be held at the cabin in his memory. This will take place next summer and invitations will be sent to loved ones.

Generations Funeral Home & Crematory, Tomahawk, is assisting the family. View Scot’s obituary and leave online condolences at www.generationsfuneral.com.
