TOMAHAWK – The Tomahawk Regional Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors held an official ribbon cutting ceremony at Just 4 U Fitness, 1336 N. 4th St., Tomahawk, on Tuesday, Nov. 16.

Ambassadors President Diane Timms and Chamber Executive Director Sherry Hulett were on hand while Shawn and Megan Zimmerlee cut the ribbon, presented by representatives of Ambassadors.

The Chamber noted that the ribbon cutting had been delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Megan and Shawn Zimmerlee moved to the area full-time in spring of 2013, as a traveling Physical Therapy Assistant assignment opened here in Tomahawk,” the Chamber said in a release. “They loved the area so much, they decided to stay!”

Shawn continues to work full-time, serving veterans in Rhinelander, and Megan works casually as a Certified Nursing Assistant in Tomahawk, all while managing Just 4 U Fitness.

“Shawn served his country and is proud to be a veteran-owned business,” the Chamber stated.

The Chamber said Shawn and Megan had the opportunity to purchase the business officially in March of 2020.

“Yes, not the best timing,” the Chamber noted. “But, they made it through and now are focusing on bringing a class ‘A’ gym to Tomahawk.”

The Zimmerlees remodeled and added equipment over the past year and kept the gym clean and safe for everyone, the Chamber said.

Just 4 U Fitness will offer a discounted rate for a 3-month Special membership of $89.95 beginning in December and running through January.

Other membership options include month-to-month and a 12-month contract, as well as unlimited tanning for $34.95 per month, with a membership. Silver Sneakers, Renew Active, Active/Silver and Fit insurances are accepted.

Just 4 U Fitness can be found online at www.Just4ufitness.com and on Facebook. The gym can also be reached at 715-453-5100.
