STEVENS POINT – The Tomahawk High School Drama Department’s one-act play, “We Are the Sea,” received numerous All-State honors at the Wisconsin High School Forensics Association’s State Theatre Festival at UW-Stevens Point earlier this month.
The cast and crew earned an Outstanding Ensemble award, Maura Koth earned an Outstanding Acting award, and Outstanding Directing accolades went to Michele Balda and Nancy Herbison.
“Martin Schmidt, Kailey Cerny, Eli Mullen, and Jenny Meza deserved acting awards more than we deserved the directing award,” Balda said.
