Salvation Army of Tomahawk seeking volunteer bell ringers for Red Kettle Campaign

For the Tomahawk Leader

TOMAHAWK – Volunteers from the Salvation Army of Tomahawk gathered in front of Trig’s in Tomahawk on Friday, Nov. 19, to celebrate the kickoff of the 2021 Red Kettle Bell Ringing Campaign.

Ringers will be seen throughout the Tomahawk area, seeking donations to cover the expenses related to assisting those in the community with emergency needs.

Those who wish to volunteer to ring can contact Wendy Mannering, co-coordinator of the Red Kettle marketing efforts, at 715-612-0445. Helen Hoover will assist those interested in scheduling a time to volunteer. To sign up online, go to www.RegistertoRing.com and follow the prompts.

For those who cannot volunteer to ring but would like to contribute to the Salvation Army’s efforts, donations may be mailed to Salvation Army of Tomahawk, 108 E. Somo Ave., Tomahawk, Wis., 54487. Checks can be made out to Salvation Army of Tomahawk.

“Thank you to all who have assisted or donated in the past,” said Wendy and Dennis Mannering. “We need you again this year.”
