TOMAHAWK – Earlier this month, Kinship of Tomahawk asked the community to help “light up” a Kinskid’s Christmas this year.

In a post on its Facebook page, Tomahawk’s youth mentorship program explained that light bulb tags are hanging on a Christmas tree near the service desk at Trig’s, 662 N. 4th St., Tomahawk. Tags can also be found at Tomahawk Pharmacy, 844 N. 4th St., and Tomahawk Foods, 990 N. 4th St. On the tags, various wish list items from Kinskids are written.

Interested community members are asked to take a tag or two, purchase the item(s) on the tag, and return the items to Kinship House, 27 E. Wisconsin Ave., or Tomahawk Pharmacy by Friday, Dec. 3.

Kinship asked for gifts to be around a $25 limit per tag, and gifts do not have to be wrapped.

“We thank everyone for helping with this!” Kinship said.
