THS Drama Department’s one-act play headed to State; Tomahawk performance set for Tuesday, Nov. 16

TOMAHAWK – The Tomahawk High School Drama Department’s one-act play earned its six-straight trip to State with their performance of “We Are the Sea” at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay on Friday, Oct. 29.

“An extra special congrats to seniors Annie Shrigley, Maura Koth, Martin Schmidt, Lucas Stelzer, and Jack McGovern for making it four in a row,” said Michele Balda, who directed the play with Nancy Herbison.

The Wisconsin High School Forensics Association’s State Theatre Festival will be held this year at UW-Stevens Point from Thursday, Nov. 18 through Saturday, Nov. 20.

A performance of “We Are the Sea” will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 16 at 7 p.m. in the auditorium at the Tomahawk school complex. There will be no charge for admission, but free-will donations to the drama department are welcomed.
