Compassus to host free, virtual holiday grief support program

WOODRUFF – Compassus will host a free virtual Holiday Grief Support presentation on Wednesday, Dec. 1.

The presentation will be held from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. via Zoom. Attendees can participate with or without video.

Compassus Bereavement Coordinators Barbara Schjoneman and Sandy Hamburg will guide participants through the interactive session.

“The holidays can be a difficult time for those grieving loss,” a release from Compassus stated. “Holiday Grief Support is designed to support people experiencing loss, whether this holiday season is the first or one of many spent without their loved ones.”

This is the second year of the virtual program, which was previously hosted in-person prior to the pandemic.
