Neal B. Kenyon, age 83, formerly of Tomahawk, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Aug. 14, 2021.
Neal was born on April 23, 1938 in Unity, Wis., to Bernard and Evelyn (nee Lynn) Kenyon. He was married to Florence Gister on June 11, 1997 in Merrill. Neal retired from the US Navy after 23 years of service and continued to work various jobs in the electronics field until he retired to Tomahawk in 1985. He continued doing electrical and handyman work for many friends and family until he was no longer able to do so. Neal enjoyed golf and spending time with family and friends.
Neal is survived by his brother – Douglas Kenyon, sister – Carol Bonham, his children – Robert (Jennifer) Kenyon of Kenosha, Wis., James (Renee) Kenyon of McHenry, Ill., and Joseph Kenyon of Wadsworth, Ill. Neal is further survived by his grandchildren – Jacob (Audrey), Madison, Rachel, Nila and Colton Kenyon and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, his sisters – Donna Tapper and Sandra Raatz, and his wife – Flo.
The Memorial Service for Neal Kenyon will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 16, 2021 at the Krueger Family Funeral Home, Tomahawk. Visitation will take place from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service at 11:30 a.m.
