Ardell ‘Lucky’ Woldt

Ardell “Lucky” Woldt, age 74, of Tomahawk, went to his Heavenly Home on Thursday, Oct. 7, 2021.

Lucky was born on Feb. 9, 1947 in Marshfield to Melvin and LaVerda (Viegut) Woldt. He was married to Dian “Annie” Hahn on July 30, 1971. Lucky worked for 20 years at Marathon County Highway Department before his retirement in 2001. Lucky was an Air Force Veteran and was stationed at Pease Air Force Base in New Hampshire and Greenland as a firefighter.

Lucky loved flying his Piper Warrior and Piper Colt on skis. He enjoyed fishing, hunting camp, snowmobiling and four wheeling. He especially loved his time spent with his family.

Lucky is survived by his wife – Annie Woldt of Tomahawk; his father – Melvin (Phylis Lehmann) Woldt of Wausau; and his siblings – Sharon (Ron Mohr) Feldman of Kronenwetter, Allan (Mary Kutil) Woldt of Wausau, Randy (Jackie) Woldt of Tomahawk, Patsy (Ken) Jozwiak of Wausau and Judy (Joe) O’Keefe of Wausau. He is further survived by his step brothers and sisters, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Lucky’s family will be celebrating his life privately.
