For the Tomahawk Leader

TOMAHAWK – The City of Tomahawk Water Department painted a fire hydrant outside City Hall pink to raise awareness for breast cancer in the community.

“We encourage breast cancer survivors, family or friends of those who battle breast cancer, anyone who lost someone to this disease or anyone with words of encouragement to write something on this hydrant,” the department said.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
