Letters to the Editor: Oct. 6, 2021
Letters to the Editor published in the Oct. 6, 2021 issue of the Tomahawk Leader.
To ignore even one is to justify lawlessness
A recent poster took note of the 9/11/2001 and 1/6/2021 events in our nation’s history.
Without challenging the poster’s opinion about the impact of these two events on our history, there have been very many impactful events in the last couple of years.
Challenges to good order will always be challenging. All riots are always challenging to good order.
As observed by the poster, it is not always the number of deaths in destructive events; it is the fact that they did occur.
To ignore even one is to justify lawlessness no matter the purpose of the riot.
