Darcie L. Espeseth

Darcie L. Espeseth, age 32, of Tomahawk, passed away peacefully with family and friends by her side on Sunday, Sept. 19, 2021. Darcie was born in St. Joseph, Mo., on Oct. 26, 1988, to Victor Harper. In 2003, Darcie was accepted with open arms by Lisa Condon-Harper, of whom she viewed as her mother. She was married to Jonathon Espeseth on Aug. 25, 2018; he survives.

Darcie was a 2007 graduate of the Mosinee High School. Before becoming a stay-at-home mom, Darcie had an extreme passion for being a caregiver to others in their time of need. This passion of caregiving extended well outside of her occupation. Darcie had a giving heart and would be there to help anyone she loved. She had a special love and bond with all of her nieces and nephews, but her number one desire was being a mother to her three children. After meeting her husband, Jon, she enjoyed volunteering for the Army National Guard as the Family Readiness Leader for the Mosinee Armory. She also joined the American Legion Auxiliary to help support all veterans. Darcie’s hobbies included shopping A LOT, crafting, party planning, and hair and makeup. She loved music and dancing, was outgoing and independent, and was known for her unique sense of humor.

Darcie is survived by her husband, Jonathon Espeseth; her three children, Skylar, Mallory, and Kasey; her parents, Victor and Lisa Harper; her sisters, Whittney (Jessey) Kramer, Paige (Garrick) Zebro, and Kiley (Nick) Pake; and her brother, Richard Hotchkiss. Darcie is further survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Katie Harper; her paternal grandfather, Larry Harper; her maternal grandfather, Jeremiah Condon; her nephew, Dean Pake; and Jonathon’s grandmother, Janet Amundson; and his aunt, Kathey Amundson.
