Felzkowski to hold listening sessions in October

WISCONSIN – State Senator Mary Felzkowski (R-Tomahawk) announced on Wednesday, Sept. 22 that she will hold a series of listening sessions throughout the 12th Senate District next month “to discuss the current legislation.”

Felzkowski will be joined by Rep. Calvin Callahan (R-Tomahawk) for the 35th Assembly District listening sessions on Thursday, Oct. 7. Rep. Rob Swearingen (R-Rhinelander) will join Felzkowski for the 34th Assembly District sessions on Friday, Oct. 8.

On Thursday, Oct. 7, listening sessions will be held at VFW Post 2687, 203 S. 4th St., Tomahawk, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.; the Elcho Community Pavilion, N11283 Dorr St., Elcho, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; and the Aniwa Community Center, W18996 First St., Aniwa, from 1:45 p.m. to 2:45 p.m.

Listening sessions on Friday, Oct. 8 will be held at the Hiles Town Hall, 9193 N. Main St., Hiles, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.; the Raymond Sloan Community Center, 7246 Main St., Lake Tomahawk, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; and the Boulder Junction Public Library, 5392 Park St., Boulder Junction, from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Listening sessions in the 36th Assembly District will be announced at a later date.

“The Senator, a member of the Joint Finance Committee (JFC), is eager to hear feedback from constituents pertaining to the outcome of the biennial state budget that was signed into law in July, as well as listen to any concerns and suggestions regarding the remaining legislative session,” a release from Felzkowski’s office stated.
