TOMAHAWK – A “Shred Day” event in Tomahawk later this month, coinciding with the city’s Dumpster Day, will benefit Lincoln County Crime Stoppers.

The event, sponsored by Tomahawk Community Bank, Merrill Community Bank and BMO Harris Bank, will be held on Saturday, Sept. 25, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., at Tomahawk Community Bank’s main parking lot at 15 E. Wisconsin Ave. in Tomahawk.

The event is open to all in the Lincoln County area.

On-site document shredding services will be provided by Confidential Records. Small paper clips and rubber bands can be left on material to be shredded, but boxes or bags will not be shredded. Spiral notebooks, video tapes, floppy disks or any type of magnetic tapes will not be accepted.

A donation of $5 per box or bag is suggested.

For more information, contact Tomahawk Community Bank at 715-453-2144.
