Ralph Arlie Bostwick

Ralph Arlie Bostwick, age 82, of Pulaski, Wis., passed away peacefully on Aug. 25, 2021 at his home. He was surrounded by his immediate family.

Ralph was born on Jan. 23, 1939, in Bryant, Wis., to Arlie and Donna (Hull) Bostwick. He graduated from Antigo High School in 1957. Ralph was self-employed for most of his life. He owned and operated several businesses. He had a particular passion for his trucking business and the A&W root beer stand. He enjoyed fishing, car races, NHRA (Scott Palmer racing), tractor pulls, gardening, flowers, and spending time with family and friends. He especially liked family weddings, family get-togethers and his morning coffee club with his buddies.

Loving husband to his wife Judy, whom he married on Nov. 23, 1960, and proud father of Debbie Leverance, Stevens Point, Wis.; Brian (Mary) Bostwick, Flagstaff, Ariz.; and Wayne Bostwick, Tomahawk.

He is survived by his grandchildren, Heather (Jacob) Gaedtke, Andrew (Jenn Timm) Leverance, Jamie (Dusty) Buchholz, Courtney (Colin) Schrek, Tara Bostwick, Brittani (Bob) Flynn, and Tyler Bostwick; great-grandchildren, Summer Gaedtke, Clay Gaedtke, Andrew Brown, Evan Buchholz, Leah Buchholz and Saylor Schrek; siblings, Wayne (Karen) Bostwick, Carol (Larry) Gaudette, Ray (Bev) Bostwick, Art (Cathy and the late Pat) Bostwick, Verlin (the late Dorothy and Debbie) Bostwick. Ralph is further survived by many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, father Arlie Bostwick, mother Donna Bostwick-Faller; stepfather, Nick Faller; sister, Phyllis Verhasselt; brother, Irvin, and wife Linda Bostwick; nephew, Todd Bostwick; and niece, Kathy Bostwick.

Ralph’s gentle handshake with a warm smile and sense of humor will be fondly remembered and forever missed by family and friends!

A celebration in honor of Ralph’s life will be held at a later date.

The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff and doctors at Saint Vincent Hospital in Green Bay, Wis. We would also like to thank the Unity Hospice for their compassionate and loving care of our dear father Ralph. We ask in Lieu of flowers that a donation be made to Unity Hospice of Green Bay in the name of Ralph Bostwick.
