TOMAHAWK – The School District of Tomahawk Board of Education announced after a special closed meeting on Monday, Aug. 30 that it will “seek assistance from an external, interim candidate” to replace former Administrator Terry Reynolds, who retired over the weekend.
The board said that although it has “the utmost confidence,” in Elementary Principal Guy Steckbauer, Middle School Principal Wendell Quesinberry, Associate High School Principal Stacy Bolder, and High School Principal Ryan Huseby, it is “concerned about the cascading changes and increased workloads that would be necessary as a result of elevating one of our outstanding internal candidates.”
While the board works to find an interim replacement for Reynolds, Huseby will handle “emergency administrative duties.”
“The Board’s intent is to open the search for a full time replacement this fall with a goal of selecting a successful candidate by spring,” the board stated.
The board said more information will be shared when it becomes available.
