For the Tomahawk Leader

WISCONSIN – The Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), an agency of the Department of Defense (DOD), honored Aspirus and Hospital Clinical Resources Manager Pamela Krueger with the Patriot Award on Aug. 12.

“The award publicly recognizes organizations and individuals who provide outstanding patriotic support and cooperation to their employees,” Aspirus said in a release.

Scott Legwold, Chairman of the Wisconsin Committee ESGR, presented Krueger with the award at Aspirus Wausau Hospital (AWH).

“Krueger was nominated by AWH Hospital Supervisor Seth Dahlke, who serves in the Wisconsin Air Force National Guard,” Aspirus said. “He specifically called out Krueger for always supporting his military career needs as well as taking a genuine interest in his military accomplishments and communicating them to Aspirus staff.”

“The National Guard and Reserve Forces are the cornerstone of our national defense,” Legwold stated. “Pamela Krueger has provided outstanding support and cooperation and has exhibited a patriotic spirit which is reflected in the significance of being a recipient of the Patriot Award.”
