WISCONSIN – The Wisconsin State Legislature recently launched a website where state residents can draw and submit their district map suggestions.

The website comes as the Legislature prepares to redraw the state’s legislative district map, a process that occurs every ten years, following the completion of the U.S. Census.

Residents can create statewide and regional maps, as well as local plans, which the Legislature will review.

Submissions will be accepted via www.drawyourdistrict.legis.wisconsin.gov/ from Sept. 1 through Oct. 15.

In a release from Friday, Aug. 13, State Representative Calvin Callahan (R-Tomahawk) encouraged participation in the redistricting process.

“As we wait for the drawing tools to upload the census data, I invite my constituents to check out this website,” Callahan said. “I look forward to seeing everyone’s submissions.”
