For the Tomahawk Leader

Elaine Dotter

TOMAHAWK – Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Tomahawk Area Historical Society had a bench made in memory of Elaine Dotter. The bench has now been placed in front of the log cabin museum, across the street from the Historical Society, located at 18 E. Washington Ave.

“Elaine was a devoted society and board member, and a loving caretaker of the log building,” the Historical Society said. “We like to say that it was ‘her baby.’”

A few years ago, friends of Allan Bell had a similar bench made in his memory, which sits in front of the Tomahawk school building, the Historical Society noted.
