Newest board member will represent Wards 1 and 2 in City of Tomahawk

TOMAHAWK – Ann Nelson is the newest member of the Lincoln County Board of Supervisors.
Nelson was sworn in as the Supervisor for District 15, which represents Wards 1 and 2 in the City of Tomahawk, during the board’s meeting in Merrill on Tuesday, June 20.
She replaces Robert Lee, who had held the post for more than 23 years before resigning at the end of March. Nelson will serve the rest of Lee’s term, which ends on April 18, 2022.
The board began accepting applications for the post in late March, set an application deadline for April 23, and sought to fill the post in May, but the deadline was pushed back numerous times due to a lack of applicants.
