Music on the River kicks off 14th summer concert series

For the Tomahawk Leader

TOMAHAWK – Tomahawk’s free weekly summer concert series Music on the River kicked off its 14th year on Wednesday, June 23, when the Jimmys brought blues, soul, funk, fantastic horns, guitars, dynamic keys and a hot rhythm section to Veterans Memorial Park.

A high-energy favorite that has taken the MOR stage numerous times, the band has won multiple awards many times over from both the Wisconsin Association of Music Industry and Madison Area Music Association.
