Truck hauling 40,000 pounds of butter rolls over on State Rd. 64

TOWN OF PINE RIVER – A truck hauling more than 40,000 pounds of butter rolled over on State Rd. 64 at the north intersection of County Rd. X late on Monday, May 31.

The Pine River Fire Department and Lincoln County deputies responded to the scene, and firefighters assisted Rod’s Towing and Service in unloading the trailer before the big rig could be up-righted.

The driver of the truck was uninjured, and the roadway was closed for several hours, the Pine River Fire Department said in a Facebook post.
