Middle school tracksters wrap up season

TOMAHAWK – The Tomahawk Hatchet Middle School track team hosted Mosinee in a dual meet on Thursday, May 20, marking their final meet of the season.

The Hatchets ultimately came up short on both the girls’ and boys’ sides.

Placing first for the Hatchets: Girls’ 4 x 800m relay, Ali Palmer, Kylie Peissig, Lydia Shaney, and Elise Gibeault; Girls’ 1600m, Ali Palmer; girls’ 4 x 200m relay, Alicia Voermans, Averi Petta, Elise Gibeault, and Faith Derleth; girls’ 800m run, Kylie Peissig; boys’ 200m, Caleb Vandeweerd; boys’ 4 x 400m relay, Jeremiah Johnson, Nathan Riemer, Zander Zehner, Dominic Boos; girls’ high jump, Kaylynn Sandry; girls’ pole vault, Alicia Voermans; girls’ shot put, Shelby Borowski; girls’ discus throw, Kaylyn Sandry.
