Judith J. Scholtes, age 71, of Brantwood, Wis., found eternal rest on Tuesday, May 4, 2021. Judy was born in Hartford, Wis, on March 28, 1950, to the late Edward and Genevieve (Connell) Pieper. She was married to James Scholtes on July 26, 1969; he passed away on March 29, 2013.
Judy enjoyed the Green Bay Packers, Donald Trump, and watching Law and Order and NCIS. She had a love for her many furry friends and enjoyed watching the critters by her home. She loved being around her friends and family enjoying a cocktail or three and was known to many as “Judge Judy” or “The Boss.” Judy was a great listener and advice giver and will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
Survivors include her son, Chris (Joy Johnson) Scholtes, and the loves of her life, her grandchildren, Remington and Sundarah; her siblings, Bonnie (Elmer) Lytle, Edward, Jr. (Carol Panizza) Pieper; Connie (Glenn) Weinfurter, and Fred (Chicki) Pieper.
Judy is further survived by her special friends, Don and Sherry Thomas, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim; her son, Mark; her parents, Edward and Genevieve; her brothers, Jerry and Kenny; and family friend, Eugene Peplinski.
