Lois M. Mueller

Lois M. Mueller, age 90, of Tomahawk, passed away on Monday, March 29, 2021, at her home, under the care of her family and Compassus Hospice. She was born in South Milwaukee, Wis., on Oct. 27, 1930, to the late Edward and Hattie (Wendt) Greenway. Lois was married to the love of her life, Donald Mueller, on April 19, 1958; he passed away in 2013.

Lois was a graduate of the South Milwaukee High School. After high school, Lois and Don moved to Oak Creek, Wis., where she was a dedicated and loving mother and homemaker, taking pride and priority in her family. Lois and Don spent many years vacationing in Tomahawk before making it their permanent home in 1989. She loved the beauty of the outdoors, bowling, and above all, spending time with her family. Lois will be dearly missed and remembered with great love and affection.

Survivors include her son, Robert (Joyce) Mueller, of Raymond, Wis.; and her daughter, Susan (John) Otto, of Milwaukee; her grandchildren, Julie (Chris) Nurse, Lisa (Noah) Knepel, Samantha (Joe) Mueller, and Brandon (Liz) Mueller; and her great-grandchildren, Ryan and Brayden Nurse, and Sophia and Olivia Knepel. Lois is further survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Hattie; and her brothers and sisters.

A special thank you to her nephew and niece, Bill and Denise Kraklow, and to her nurse, Amanda Kent, and the Compassus Hospice team, for their ongoing support and loving care.
