For the Tomahawk Leader

NORTHERN WISCONSIN – The League of Women Voters of the Northwoods (LWVNOW) is providing information for voters to become familiar with what will be on area ballots in the April 6 Spring Election.

Voters in Vilas, Oneida, and Lincoln counties can find a personalized Voters’ Guide at www.vote411.org. The guide provides information on local offices, including Town and City officials, school board positions, and advisory referendums, as well as information on candidates for the State Superintendent of Public Instruction and Appeals Court Judge.

“These last weeks before the Spring Election are an important time for all voters to take advantage of every available opportunity to get their questions answered,” LWVNOW stated in a release. “Voting is the one time when all citizens have an equal say in the issues and priorities that matter most to us and our communities.”

For more information on LWVNOW, visit www.lwvnow.org or email [email protected].
