WISCONSIN – Wisconsin is holding statewide elections this year for the Superintendent of Public Instruction. The primary is Feb. 16, 2021 and the election is April 6, 2021.

The State Superintendent of Public Instruction supervises the state’s public schools and serves a four-year term. They ascertain the condition of public schools, stimulate interest in public education and promote ways of improving schools.

Personalized election and candidate information is available at www.Vote411.org, a nationwide resource provided by the League of Women Voters. There, you can find information about the seven candidates for Superintendent of Public Instruction, as well as finding out what’s on your ballot, checking your voter registration, and finding your polling place.

The deadline for online or mail-in voter registration has passed, but you can vote in-person absentee through Feb. 12. The hours for in-person absentee voting will vary by municipality, so be sure to check with your local clerk, whose contact information can be found at www.Vote411.org, MyVote.wi.gov, or your local library.

Remember, your vote is your voice, and your vote matters.
